Default B3--- can it still compete???

My uncle just gave me a B3 buggy which needs a little help. I don't mind spending a few bucks to get it race- ready, It's the standard buggy w/ bearing. I want to know if it is still race worthy.......

Supposedly there will be an indoor off-road track opening by the end of the year, and I wanna give it a try.......

the b3 is a great buggy, it depends on how much your going to spend on it- only a couple of bucks then go for it but if its like 80 or more id realy be thinking of getting a b4.
