Default Evader ST Pro w/Novak 3.5R Tuning and gearing questions

Hi All!! I have an Evader ST Pro and i installed a Novak 3.5R GTB system in it. I run 4200's and soon will be uping it to a lipo.

I run it on a track i built in my back yard (about a 1/4 acre).
My questions are:

Which lipos should i get? Any recommendations?

I'm running a 24 tooth pinion with an 86 tooth spur gear and it seems to be to much for the track. Any suggestions?

Also, when i program the esc to have reverse, it seems to hesitage for 3-4 seconds then backs up. Is this normal?

Also, what do you guys think of the evader st pro?

Thanks all for your help.

You may want to reduce the size of that pinion. That is a very large pinion for a 3.5. I run a 17 pinion on my losi with an 86 spur...with a 6.5 gtb. The st pro I believe is an older losi st just renamed under the duratrax name...I think they bought the design from them. I had one for a short period and it was a good truck.
