schottky diodes in st's
Does any one have any pics or suggestions as to where to mount a schottky diode in a st or buggy? I don't really know where to put it with the motor hanging out the rear and i don't want it to rip off.
thanks, chris |

I always mounted mine on the motor tabs on both buggy and truck and never had a single problem with any of them. Remember the stripe on the can goes to the positive side. Sorry for the crappy pics, but you get the idea.

nice looking truck. I just threw a 10 turn CP in mine and it rips.

I'd love to race electric again, but there's not enough of it going on locally to justify starting from scratch on one. We have some electric trucks, but they run with the 10th gas trucks and I'd hate to buy a new truck only to have it split in two getting t boned by a gas truck.
With any luck we will have more electric trucks next year and I can go back to what I like best. |
Looks like what is bring back electric especially in north carolina is running brushless and lipo trucks with the gas guys. Doing 20+ minute mains. I would contact Craps for more info.

It's the same around here, but if I've got to run with gas trucks I'll just run a gas truck.
