there is a guy at my track that is .aking one from a XXX 4. he has the rear end done now he is doing the front and the gearing. It looked really stable it should be cool when its done.

for what it is worth....himoto racing makes one. You can find them on e-bay.

This has been a topic on RCTECH recently. I'm trying to remember the thread title. Academy has everything you need to build one. The base is their 4wd buggy. They have an extended chassis (I believe), and long arms and truck wheels. I think the only down side for bashing would be that its a graphite deck style chassis. So rocks might be a problem.
Me and one of the racers at my track are figuring out how to do a conversion for a JConcepts BJ4WE. Hopefully soon there will be pics to post.

I have never seen it run though.

I saw it run a few weeks ago. I talked to the owner and it sounds like they are still waiting on some machine work so all is well when you go to run it. The few laps I saw it run it seemed really fast.

It's 1/12th scale, but you can convert a Jammin CRT.5 to electric. rc-monster sells the motor mount. I am in the process of converting one to brushless/lipo. I am putting a Plettenberg Maxximum in it.

We are about to release an extended crt.5 electric chassis kit as well. By converting the crt.5 with our new chassis and installing pede/rustler front truck wheels, you get an almost perfect 1/10 electric truggy. I use 1/10 truck bowties on mine. :)

intimidator 09-02-2007 05:55 AM

wow a crt.5 electric, that woulb be badass.id like them to look the same, keep the stock chassis if i could,i could have matching elctric and nitro.soon as you guys get some pics lemme see em.

There is a "top-down" view of the prototype attached in the above link(attached the picture here as well). We have offered a direct-fit motor mount for the stock chassis for a few months as well. There are quite a few conversions already done - several threads and pictures on our forums. :)

I saw some T4's and XXXTmf2's the other day.....LOL

Is that chassis longer than stock?

I don't get it. Also I see you run at Summit, and have a XXXCR and XXX4G+. Did you recently come down to Planet? If so congrats on clearing the triple. You're still the ONLY electric to do it!
