Love to, but that was the last race of the season. Maybe a testing run. I've got an RC8 soon to be electric to join my 2 electric 8ights that I'll run if the snow and rain hold off...

I'm not sure, but Jim, myself, and one other guy were the only ones nuts enough to be running 4 classes. And Jim handed it to me in the 3 that we were in together.
I wasn't at the Spokane race mate, that was Zken. Hope to be there next year though, both these 8IGHTs got commandered (sp?) for testing, I'm going to buy another Buggy this winter and get all the kinks out before I race it.

It's cool, but he's about 10" taller than me and has a mohawk, lol!

I wish I could have gone to that race, sounded like a ton of fun but I don't have an 1/8 yet....or I guess...anymore, haha! Thanks dad!

I'll have one soon enough, gotta finish my 1:1 car first..

Just found this thread...

VERY COOL!!

I'm picking up an 8ight RTR and will just mess with it until Tekin releases whatever system they are working on. This is definitely an awesome project/product that will bring guys like me who have only raced electric TC over to the 1/8 buggy side.

Tekin has to be one of the most innovative and personable companies I've seen in the industry.

Again...very impressive. Post the video you guys had at iHobby

Its still yours.. Now it is just dirty and race proven. By the way it needs a shakedown and cleanup.

Truggy too

Ty promises us he will edit some of the video from the race soon.

Tekin you are doing a great job at keeping the RC community updated on a product that is yet to be released. Most companies would keep it under wraps until it is ready to be released.

Thank you.

P.S. If you have it ready for the spring consider it sold! I am building an 8th scale buggy and I am waiting for a purpose built 8th scale ESC and motor.

Any idea on a release date? I could really use one in my 8ight. Keep up the good work and keep us informed.

I'm not a fan of release dates anymore

It's nowhere near ready yet, we have a lot of work to do to get it up to par with the rest of our product line.

Glad to hear that you are working on it. I can't wait to give it a try!
