I have a xl-5 stampede that i have taken the stock 550 motor out and replaced with a 19 mod motor , i run 4200 6 cell packs , stock speedo it has 86 tooth spur and 19 tooth pinion it runs great but gets " HOT " Can someone give me advice on gearing

try going down to a 16 tooth pinion

i run a 9x1 checkpoint in mine with a 93 spur and either a 12 tooth pinion or i run a 91 spur with a 14 tooth pinion,depending on which one i put on after i clean it all
