The reason there are no stock classes is because there doesnt seem to be enough of them wanting to run. However, if there are enough people who are interested and let us know before the event we'll defintely make a class.
Right now there's only about 5 people from the area interested in both Stock Truck and Stock Buggy.
Unfortunately, Texas is pretty big and the electric class is diluted. We havent seen an offroad electric regionals in years in Texas, so our club is trying to revive the class.

Yes we've considered running both in the same class. Again if we've got enough we will run it.

You guys ever think of asking the Oklahoma guys if they would want to run the stock classes? Last time I checked Oklahoma was in the same region as Texas.

Elk, thanks for the consideration! Wasnt trying to start a war or anything. Just seems over the past few years the Oklahoma dudes never hear about the regionals or whatnot until they are a week away, or just over with.

Ill spread the word up here and see if we can gather up a crew to come down!

No offense taken!.. I'm just happy we've got this race.. It's been too long since it's been held. The flyer and online registration form now reflect the stock classes. I hope we've given everybody enough time to make the trip!

B'ner , I don't know how to post the flyer on

our forum thread. PLEASE post it on ours too.

We have a lot of region 9 guys read our thread.

Just a curious question: The flyer says the open

class can use an "illegal" motor, what does that mean?

Thanks,

Judi

Thumbs up

Judi, all that means is that motors that are NOT ROAR legal may be used. There are quite a few racers that have Mamba brushless motors which are not ROAR legal.. this will allow people to run what they've already invested in. Furthermore, it'll also allow those who've invested in LiPos to run them. It'll be similar to what they did for the ROAR Nats.. a LiPo "exhibition" class. I hope i've answered your question!

Just thought I'd share the forum we Texas racers use. This link has our current drivers list.
