id recommend the slingshot EP 4200. they have three levels of batteries. 6 cell club packs are around 40 bucks. these cells have great punch, highly recommend them.

raceGEEK,

Yes the EP's are the way to go. A very good battery for racing and practice.

I would go with the EP's. They can take a beating, and from what I've found. They kinda like it. The IB's are good packs, but you need to maintain them practically everysecond you have. GP's are reliable, but don't have the punch compared to the IB's and EP's.

Mark has some pro-match ones on the wall, and he will be matching his own kick ass batteries.

Promatch have been selling good cells. Great customer service, although they don't necessarily follow directions though. Asked for saddle packs, gave me side by side, so I just had to do a bit of soldering. A pretty good deal too, 2 EP4200WC battery packs shipped for $130.

My next cell purchase though will probably be slingshot club packs. $40 for a quality matched pack! Can't beat that.

the 4200 will give you more run time it has 4200 mah, or milli amp hours. basiclly it can deliver 4.2 amps for an hour. the 3700 will have less runtime, and i believe less average voltage over the discharge. if your running stock the more voltage you can get the better, and the same applys for mod.

jtm8608...check out the Slingshot forum. I race with a few of their team drivers and can attest...their EP4200's are top notch. And the owner is a really cool guy and a racer himself.
