My system came in to the hobbyshop Monday, so I've touched it and read the manual and the website, but haven't bought it and installed it yet.
With the speeds they state, I would expect it to be equivalent to a Novak 5800 in power (at 7.2v) but with 3500kv and the ability to go higher with the volts. You can use nicd, nimh, or lipo, but depending on your load, it can kill nicd and nimh with high amp draw. It is a normal sensorless motor, so theoretically it would work with other sensorless esc's but the reality is for all esc/motor combos some work better than others. I haven't heard of anyone mixing and matching yet.

Traxxas states it is equivalent to a 10T brushed. Which kinda surprises me being a 3500kv but I haven't seen all the technical info. However seeing it run with a 3S lipo.. its impressive!

It is a 10 turn brushless, not equivalent to 10 turn brushed.

I think its power wise, I know RPM wise volt to volt, it won't compare, but power wise is a different story. I got a 4600 mamba max system that pulls 500 watts Peak, on an eagletree datalogger. I'm not sure on brushed data, i never eagletreed my old 10 turn combo in my T4 but the 4600 feels a bit stronger and can handle higher gearing
