Default SOCAL R/C RACEWAY LIVES!!!!

SoCal was supposed to close, but the owner's of the land had a change of heart. I know that there are still rumors out there about the status of SoCal so I just wanted to put the rumors to rest:

SOCAL IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS AND RACING!!

Both the On-Road and Off-Road tracks are still open for practice and racing.

The schedule has been changed to the following:

Monday - 3p to 9p practice both tracks
Tuesday - Closed
Wednesday - Closed
Thursday - 3p to 9p practice both tracks
Friday - 3p to racing's conclusion Racing @ 7p both tracks
Saturday - 11a to 5p (I am 90% sure about the times) practice both tracks
Sunday - 11a to 6p Racing @ 1p Off-Road

The old thread was, well old, so here is a new one for socal locals or anyone interested in our track! Please feel free to ask any questions!

Talked to Slim he will work until a replacement is hired. That is good news though.

I ran the track and fixed a few pot holes. The track was a little damp but buggy was hooked.

Depends I ran holeshots all around. Or blockheads up front and squares in the rear.

I ran holeshots all the way around and had plenty of traction. To bad there werent enough people around to race. I hope this thread Frank put up helps bring some of the racers back. The issue with the owner really killed attendance!
