Hey Tripdude,
Is there ever a 2w, 4w AND T/C Mod class for squids like me?
I like to run it cuz stock is weak, especially in 4w.
I drive ok, in control and everything but I know I'd be in the way of the fast guys.
Know what I mean?
I guess I could sign up and just drive a clean line, as much as possible that is.
I wanna start racin again but not friggin stock and I really don't want to get in anyones way. Unless they also are sportsman or whatever it is.
No such thing as too much horsepower, just never enough traction or brakes!

I feel the same way. There use to be a couple of Mod. classes for the non-pros, but not anymore. I would like to race mod as well, but not with the pros. Maybe if So Cal starts to get back on track, there will be more people attending, to fill these classes.

You gotta go!
Had a blast last night.
Ran stock anyway but Slim said run whatever you want, just have fun.
To be honest, the modified class mixed 2 and 4w and it was cool.
Guys drivin like normal peeps. I'm gonna run it next time. They were crashin all over the place, I'll fit right in.

It was ten years since I raced offroad, five years or so since TCs. at So Cal so I signed up in the intermediate stock buggy last night and was surprised with the win.
I ran 24 second average laps, problem is that the sportsman dudes are runnin 21 second laps!
When I step up to sportsman I'm gonna get owned!
I think as long as I'm in for a spankin, I may as well run MOD!
Way more fun.

I am back to stock cause its getting very competitve again. Mod buggy seems to be harder on the car and tires. To $$ for tires now for me.

Oh yeh, gonna need some new sneakers after a couple mod runs huh?
I guess I can burn off my 2w skins then run my 4w meats down and THEN go buy a couple new sets when I wanna drop some scratch.
