Precisely, and with a loose nut behind the wheel of F-1 who is going to buy in! its almost time to look more seriously at Champ Car and F-1 merging, but unfortunately it might need to be in a spec chassis so as the Champ Car teams could even have a chance at being involved. other then the chassis use all currents rules for motor, gear box, weight, aero package, and those things. i am very sad for F-1.

sorry for being off topic a bit. wish i had some pics of CH in Tucson or some better pics of SRS from the Cactus but they only show close ups of small parts of the track.

yeah that track is sick, but that red dirt must be a pain at the end of the day. and again off topic:
there are a lot of things that can improve F1 before we see and mergers with other series. imo ground effects down-force for better passing , i also think that while the current lineup of tracks, while awesome layouts, don't offer enough passing. (we should move this convo to the f1 thread, haha)

There actually is talk with the FIA and the TWG to reintroduce ground effect chassis for just this reason. But they also realize that a ground effect car with the current engine package would be deadly.

What's the difference?

A race tack is a race track and it is the same race track everybody races on not knowing the difference of what motor or fuel type!

I have to admit a stock truck would be boring on this big track, but I find stock truck boring away! Give me a fast brushless system and a big li-po for some long run times on a big fast track with big jumps anyday!

www.enidrcracing.com has a few more pics. There should be some more up in the next few weeks when the new layout goes in.
