They are both beginner level cars. Assuming you are new to this hobby they should be good for you. Nice and durable. Also, parts should be easy to get in case you break anything. If you are considering racing, both these cars should be satisfactory to get you started but if you want to take it to the next level, you'll probably want to upgrade to a real competition level kit.
I don't own these cars so I don't really have any pointers for you.
