7.5R Smoked!

I was adjusting my slipper on my B4 and a little smoke came out of the motor. Weird that never happened to me.
Any thoughts on what would cause this.

Wired up correctly? Make sure something didnt get inside somehow.

How long were you running the car before this happened?

The slipper being too tight/too loose could place additional stress on the motor.

Well I did put a drop of Trinity bearing oil on the outside of the bearing on the brushless motor.
Wonder if that had any effect.

Its really hard for debris to get into a BL motor, because of the closed enbell, so I doubt it.
