Its a nomination. Just get someone to nominate you. Then you'll be on the ballots

Easier said then done. It would be to hard to try for something like that.

Whoever does eventually get Nominated and Elected... lets hope they look into LiPo and Lithium Ion seriously and commit to legalizing it once and for all. Everyone who as at this year's ROAR EP Off-Road Nationals clearly saw the benefits of these batteries and a BL Motor System. I remember even Gil Losi Jr. was very impressed with the overall performance of the ST demo class.

I'd have to say BS. From my experience they are encouraged to attend the event. Unfortunately if you're in a huge region (like Region 10 that spans Wyoming to Arizona) it's almost impossible for the RD to make it to some events in the region. When we held Electric regionals in '06 our RD came to the track to tech for us. Granted she lived in Utah, and was only 5 hours away. Now with Sean being in Arizona, I doubt we'll ever see him come up to Wyoming unless one of us holds a national event.

Sean, this is not a bash against you, just a realization that it's difficult to spend $1000 to be the ROAR official for a race.

It seems that in most divisions that are spread apart, they have assistant RDs that can attend a race for them. Ie. Our Region used to have Perez, not sure if he still does though.

Unfortunately I have witnessed in other areas where a state is sorta just thrown into the mix it always presents a problem. (ie, Montana in Region 11.) They just don't belong in that region from what I have ever seen. None of those guys ever attend races in Washington. Most of them attend races in the Dakotas, Wyoming, Idaho, or Utah only.
