It is also a 30 amp pulse discharge not a continuous like the 10 amp Ice. It also has added cooling compared to the ICE. Sounds like they stand behind it. I also am just ranting a little but Li-Po batteries are just as safe. I haven't seen a Li-Po go up at the track but blew up 3 Ni_Mh in 1 race day when 1 caught fire. There is danger in everything we do in this hobby because we are pushing electronics to the maxx to get the best performance.

Maybe someday the Lipos will be the great thing. But too many variables right now. If at some point they become ROAR legal and come in saddle configuration they might be ok. It seems that charger manufacturers are embracing lipo technology. CE would upgrade your GFX35 to lipo for 50 bucks. I guess time will tell.

Unproven? Unreliable? Talk to some of the airplane and heli guys about that? Maybe 8 years ago.

im going lipo after i went to socal and see them in action! and how easy they really are. getting two packs today the 3200 or 4800 orions what ever they have to of. i know that the 4800 will have more run time but are there anymore avantages?
