Default vintage Novak ESC please help.

I have some questions, I bought an old car with a Novak Tempfet T-4 ESC w/o reverse. I plan on using it in a beginner drag car for my wife, I need to know the max motor it can handle, and what the 2 little red leads are for. I've seen some pics and it looks like some kind of capacitor or something. And does it support BEC or does I need a separate battery for the receiver? I know it's an old ESC but I think it still has a lot of life left in it.

check here http://teamnovak.com/download/instru...1_T4_Instr.pdf for all your esc specs. The two little red wire are for thr internal voltage regulator.

Ok so that doesn't say the hottest motor you can run, it says max draw is 176 amps, but I don't know what that translates to in turns.

Have you emailed Novak? They have always been really good at getting back to me.
