hey all:Was looking at the pics of the 2007 off road electric euro's and something caught my eye.Why is Hupo Honigl now using the durango and not the tamiya 501x 4wd buggy if he's sponsored by tamiya?Also what is he using for brushless motor lrp or orion?Thanks for the info

He won using a Tamya 501X, Orion motor and LRP speedo.

I think he's thinking about Neumann who "TQ'ed" practice, using a Durango.

Neumann is using Team Orion V2 motors and Team Orion Batteries ! Same like Hupo.

he yall:I could be wrong on this,but this is the pic that made me ask the question in the first place.Unless someone else has the same paint job then this is hupo's car. Hope this helps

That photo is most likely from the 2006 euro held in Austria. In 2007 euro Hupo drove the Tamiya.

That is indeed an old picture, there were only 4 Durangos at the race: Joern Neumann, Joseph Quagraine, Gerd Pfeiffer and Ebi Beck. Hupo was definitely running the Tamiya.

Sorry guys, someone just told me the big logo at the top of the 2007 report linked to the 2006 report so caused some confusion.

Hupo did indeed run the Tamiya and I have some photos of his car to upload along with his setup.
