Honestly I dont have the faintest idea of what a tl-01b is.

If you dont mind spending money to make your car competitive, it would be in your best interest to by something new.

Example: Associated RC10B4 Team Buggy Kit
Accessories Needed Combo Available Parts Listing
179.99 In Stock

That is a cut and paste from Towers site. By the time you update your? It will not be as competitive as a new one. You can use your old electronics untill you have enough extra money to buy more up to date ones.

I just spent over $350 fully rebuilding my orgional RC10T, with inexpensive electronics. It is awsome, buy my $189 + electronics T4 will smoke it, even with the same motor and speed controler.

Save time, money and aggravation in the long run. By your favorite brand buggy or truck in a new or newer model.

Sometimes budget = costs more in the long run. Get a quality buggy or truck to start with, and you wont regret it.

I believe the TL-01B is the Baja King.

your best bet will be getting something that parts are most available for. If your hobby shop doesn't stock the parts its probably best to consider another car, unless you have to money to order parts online ahead of a race.
