with vetical ball stud you use washers under the ball stud, when they break most of the time you can take out the broken part.

^^ Exactly right, much like what i did on my XXX CR today, broke the rear ballstud clean in half, no problems though the other half of the thread unwound with pliers right out of the hub and that was with a plastic hub, alloy will have even looser thread to hole contact... now only if my CVD bone would just be as easily fixed

There were CR-Ts at the HRH this weekend. Robbers still ran his hybrid one, but I saw some EA3 chassis ones. Im going to just put the AD2 hubs on, since thats what the CR-Ts hubs are based off of.
