Why not just run brushless 13.5's with regular stock motors, Its the normal thing happening with clubs around teh US now....

I've only started racing at Hutch since this Feb. Been racing almost every weekend. I run the 13.5 and I hear they are supposed to be comparable to a perfectly tuned stock brushed motor. How long does a "perfectly tuned stock motor" stay perfectly tuned? Is it a few minutes, a few qualifiers, or few weekends? This is my understanding as to why they have two different classes. I'm all for keeping the racing fun, so the less complaints and frustration the better. I just hope I'm ready for my first big electric race. LOL. I'm ready to race.

Stock brushless truck, mod truck. If I can swing it I'll get a buggy and do mod 2wd. How many locals will be at this race guys?
