Cool Travis has a CR, X6 and B4. Im assuming the CR would be if the track is rutted up like hell.

Is the Associated Live Feed working? Will it only be for the races or will there be footage of practice too?

I only get pictures on the page... Don't know what time the racing is meant to be on Australian time. Any ideas?

Greetings race Fans!

Well, it was a muddy mess today. It rained during the practice, and didn't really dry out. A few cars stopped on the track at various times during the day. Lots of drivers took "blue tack" and covered up crucial areas.

Some cars could barely get around, others looked only slightly better. I wish I could tell you who was fast or not, but really I couldn't tell. All I saw was brown cars and muddy rooster tails all over.

Cars would be literally dripping water out the back as they came down the side strait away.

I saw some "mud placement" testing.... Tire changes, that seemed futile to me, as I'm an onroad guy.

Me and the USA/Novak team didn't fair very well, some water got into places it shouldn't have and caused us to miss a round or two. But we've got that all sorted out now. Missing the Mud Bog didn't really hurt much anyway....

The UK/Novak team did participate and finish all the rounds, oddly enough they have lots of water running experience. My favorite was Lee Martin, he didn't take any real water care prep and drove it hard all day and had no issues. Bradders Blue Tacked the car all up, he lost a fan at one stage was his only issue.

Personally I think most of the issues noticed in "any" brand of electronics was from the post race cleaning. Using an Air Hose and a Pressure washer to clean your car can push the water into places it wasn't.

Word on the street was that tomorrow will be more clear and no rain, but I think most of the weather forcast we are hear are from Komatsu. We're about 45Km away and up a mountain, so I don't think it applies....

I finally made it to the ATM thanks to "TEAM IRELAND". They were making a trip down the mountain for supplies and allowed me to hitch a ride. This was during the rain break in the middle of the day. Visited this HUGE electronics shop, got some fans, and found they had a Hobby Shop Section. I found "cheap" Tamiya Parts. Something you never see at home. I picked up a package of Antenna Tubes, and some Godzilla Figures. Authentic Japanese Godzilla. Yeah Buddy. They even had a Mini Z Track.

Have I mentioned how good our hotel food is, I know I did, but we just finished another awesome meal.

Took an after dinner dip in the hotels hot spring. Tomorrow will be a better day.

Doug let me know if you didn't get the email, the pics were kinda big, maybe then didn't make it. Why can't I post them myself.

Happy Trails

Default '07 offroad electric worlds

hey all:In my opinion if the worlds were in the usa there would be a losi funded team there, but it's not so horizon hobbies which ownes losi seems to be to cheap to send a team there.Yes i know it cost lots of $$$ to send a team all that way,but for an event this big they can and should do it.Nothing against losi they make fine vehicles it's who ownes them now that is the issue Just my thoughts
