Hi,

Does anyone know anything about the new "electric" track (Redhill and MacArthur) Slim was talking about at Friday night race at SOCAL? is it going to be offroad only? Thanks.

The guy who found the place told me last night. Hopefully it would be a possibility within a month. I'll be giving him a call on Tuesday on the details and progress.

It's indoor so only 10th scale electric unless someone says otherwise. I'll be calling the guy on Tuesday on the progress so cross your fingers.

Russell is getting a new track up and running in Irvine on Redhill and Macarthur. It should be up and running in a month. I can find out more.
I will be working with him.

There were like 18 heats on the last race at socal on Friday just for offroad. There are plenty of people doing electric off road at socal.

A new track with a more involved owner will definetly draw more people. Many on road people I know also have off road cars. They will switch to offroad if it is the only game in town.

Why? There are TONS of nitro tracks in the LA area for nitros to race on. I would love to try my 1/8 on an indoor track, but I can realize the extensive costs needed for ventilation, etc.

Therefore, IMHO, they don't NEED to provide any nitro support unless they want to invest in it.
