Recomend me a Cheap but good Limitless ESC

Hi, looking for a speed controller, would prefer a limitless one so i can upgrade motors when i can, right now im running a 19t venom racing double modified motor, but i need an ESC:nod:

Thanks for any help, Danny

You can find Tekin G11 Pro's online for about $115 or so. Limitless and really powerful. If you want to save the $$ try ebay.

I would just pick up the mamba max esc. It is a great brushed esc.

used, go with either a Tekin G-10 or G-11 ESC, or a Novak Cyclone.

Novak Cyclones are one of my favorites for a brushes unit, second only to the Tekin since the tekin is more adjustable on the ESC itself and easy to tune.

Cyclones go for about 40 - 50 bucks usually.

Have you considered the Novak GTB.?

Its limitless and you can run brushed or brushless.

If you're looking for really cheap, I'd go with a Tekin G-10 or G-10 pro. They're bulletproof. Whatever you decide on, make sure you get the posts that can be soldered, rather than having the wires come directly out of the ESC case.

I picked up a G-10 for $35. I love it. I run it in my 4wd, and will continue to do so until it dies.

Agreed. I loved my Tekin. Run a cyclone now but only because for what I would get out of it to sell it, rather just keep it.

i'll look into getting a tekin, i had a quick look before i went to college and they look neat and dont burn a hole in your pocket and its exactly what i want really:nod:

There's a lot of Cyclones and GT7's floating around that go for around $50 or so that are great speedo's and will handle most anything you through at it.

On a side note, before you go out and buy a low turn hot mod, keep in mind the maintanence involved in running one. The few times I raced mod the comm needed to be cut a minimum every four runs and have the brushes replaced. If not racing you can go a few more but you begin to suffer problems of poor performance, further accelerating brush wear, hung brushes (causing you to roll to a stop), and shorter motor life.

A 19 turn motor is one that delivers great performance and can go up to a couple dozen runs before major maintenance is needed. If faster is what you're after look into brushless setups that include a motor and esc. They'll be quite a bit more up front, but they're almost maintenance free.
