When are you leaving? I have a buddy in Maui that I can ask! At least he should have one island covered

I'm going to Oahu with some of my friends. We're staying at some dorms, and found a track that's about a mile away. I'm not sure how far away from you that is, but from their site, it looks like a pretty decent track. We're going to email them sometime before we leave as to the track conditions to see which tires to bring.

I looked in one of the mags before I went on my trip a couple of years ago, found the address, then couldn't find the place. I spent like an hour looking and ended up going to Chili's for lunch!:D

In an older issue of RCCA mag, it shows 3 places in Hawaii

A.S.I. Racing, Kapaa Kauai, Hawaii 96746
Arnold Morales, 808-821-8132

Radio Control Assoc./Alaa Park Raceway, Pearl City, Hawaii 96782
ACe R/C Products 808-456-1279

Sandy Flemings, Pearl City, Hawaii 96782
Dave Caldwell, 808-456-7272
email: [email protected]
link: www.formula1-rc.com

Edit: I actually just tried calling these 3 places, the first two numbers have changed, and the last one, the guy is on vacation and shop is closed til june 28

I went to Hawaii earlier this year. ASI isn't open there anymore. The number doesn't work either. I ended up making friends with his neighbore, and met him. That place is on Kaui. You'll love it there even if you don't go to a HS.

I don't remember seeing any hobby shops when I was in Oahu. The night life in Honolulu was pretty good too (find some locals to go out with). I highly recommend people watching outside of Denny's at like 3am. Lots of hookers and some real pimps...:ha:

Maui RC Racing Association

The guy I talked to on the phone was pretty chill.

i checked out those sites looks like there more on road
i race off road so if anyone knows of any rc shops that sell off road products
i would even be happy if they sold off road tyres (which i really need )

If you're going to be in LA, which part of LA. It's pretty big.;)

Down in the San Fernando Valley, we have Hot Rod Hobbies in Valencia(not really in the valley, about 30 minute drive) and hobby people in camarillo. There's also SoCal Raceway in Long Beach.
