Default Sportwerks V2 .26 Help Needed

Hey guys, I just bought a few weeks ago a new V2 .26 engine for my truggy. The stock needle settings are 3 1/2 out on top and 2 on the bottom. At those settings it's kind of lean on the bottom. So I richen it up about 4 turns (6 totle) and get the engine to running temp - a drop of water sizzles in about 3-4 seconds on top of the head...temp gun reads around 230. WHen I do the pinch test for the low side needle it idles for 3-5 seconds then starts to pick up speed.
The issue is out on the track, the bottom side sounds and feels like it's lean bogging. Thinking maybe it's to rich I lean the bottom out and it gets worse. So i try to richen it up and it stays the same. I am useing a mc59 plug, jp3 pipe and werks 20%. My clutch isn't binding up nor is my drive train. I am stumped as to what is going on. My back plate has been sealed as has the carb with red rtv silicon. Has any one had this experience with this engine doing that? Funny thing is my cousin has the v2 .21 and he is having the same problem.
Any help would be welcomed. I tried to email sportwerks but my email bounced back to me.
