Default reciever battery pack connectors

do you guys replace these or just keep them and if you do replace them what connectors do you use.

for years i have never replaced them.....until in the main at the pro series state race the connector broke in half and my battery unplugged itself. i now have a nice mini deans connector on there.

ok ill look into those mine broke and its been having problems keeping contact

Get something with 3 prongs. That way you cant plug it in backwards. You can even use regular deans if you like. Don't plug the mini-deans in backwards. You'll burn something (servo, rx) up like I did

lol how did you plug it in backwards?

on the receiver side there is only one prong and one hole and the same on the battery side. you can't hook it up backwards. the only way you can hook it backwards is if you soldered the wires backwards lol.

Because I used these instead of what you showed. I didn't even know that was offered, or I would have bought those instead.

Got lucky and only fried my Z650M, which JR covered under warranty
