Default Question about Receivers

Hi, i use Hitec radio gear and was wondering if a Futuba receiver would work if its the same channel (27mhz AM) with the crystal out of my Hitec receiver, i have 2 cars and dont want to buy another full raido set up cause all i need to get my buggy working now is an ESC and receiver, i can buy or order both tomorrow if the receiver will work, if not ill have to save for a new set up

Finished building my DF02 Gravel hound about 1 hour go painted and stickerd up im proud as its only my 2nd car ive built and painted i enjoy building these kits, it is true building is half the fun driving them is the rest

It should work. However, the crystal may need to be changed to Futaba for the Rx. Thegood news is that 27MHz AM crystals are cheap.
