Just looking for information or suggestions from guys who have used Calcium chloride on their tracks. I'm looking for where you would purchase it and how you calculate how much to use.

It will make the top layer cake & break off leaving ruts. There are better soil conditioners. gypsum is one. It helps hold moisture. I've heard of guys using fine mulch. Even sawdust.

Don't use calcium ! that stuff is horrificly corrosive !!! Use a good base material such as pond silt and then stiffin it up with gypsum or lime, lime gives a bit more grip if you get the coarse ground stuff. It will be like racing on 80 grit sandpaper ! And it will lighten up the soiil color so the blue groove shows up very fast
