Offroad Nitro cleaning question...

For all you offroad racers out there that clean your car after a race day...

How do you get the plastic ball cups off metal pivots without destroying anything? (servos, throttle etc.) It's such a hassle for me to get those cups off. I resort to wedging a screw driver against the something to pop off the cups. Each time I do I feel like I'm going to break something. Luckily, it hasn't happened but I figure there HAS TO BE a better way!

Thanks for any help!

I grab those ball cups with a set of dull set of pliers and twist them off.

There used to be ball cup plyers. They had a funky looking tip, specifically designed for adding/removing ball cups. I just did a search and couldn't find any. I haven't even seen a pair in a long time...
