very good engine is a rb c6. if you leave the 8mm venturi in it its VERY torqy and excellerates very fast. put in a 7mm and it can go over 10 min easy on a tank of fuel. when set up this way it isnt the fastest top end motor but still out excellerates my s7 from corner to corner with 2-3 more minutes of run time per tank. all depends what you are looking for all the mentioned engines have their advantages

I run the Go Tech 5 port and I love it. The 7 port would be a good choice also.

There are a couple of things that might help you out in your search.
Is price a factor?
Are you racing at a large or small track?
Are you traveling to different tracks?
Is tuning an issue for you?
Are parts available to you or are you ordering online?
Are you a new driver to 1/8th?
Do you care if it is legal or not? The best deals are in the .26 motors @ $130.
Do you have a selection of pipes or are you going to need one of those too?

Food for thought.
