Ok I am a carpet guy and am going to be racing off road electric this summer and I am stuck.. I like the losi but my gut is telling me to get a team T4.. I am sure this has been posted a few times on here but I really dont feel like looking for it LOL .. please help me out.. They are the same price so I am stuck.

RTR or kit? The RTR Losi comes with better electronics. Otherwise they're both good trucks, AE is easier to work on though.

They will not be the RTR. The T4 would be the team ed. and the Losi would be the newest one available cannot remember the full name. I have heard that the losi takes a few modifications to make it compitition ready while the T4 is pretty much ready to go, and that the T4 has a better trans???

I the XXXT and it was a good truck to drive. I haven't got a chance to drive a T4 for though.

Ok, just close your eyes and spin around, then stop whichever your finger is closest to pointing at is the one you should get. Both are good trucks and there is absolutely nothing wrong with either one. Or just get whichever one you think looks better (I would have to say the T4 for that, the XXXT has such a weird body).

if I had to say i'd say T4 for carpet XXX-MF2 for dirt. The T4 is more virsitile for carpet racing if your doing indoor with jumps but the T4 dose hold its own on the dirt but seems to have less cornering than the MF2

Well this is going to be off road.. No carpet racing LOL I have my Xray for that So far I hear more for the XXX-T.. I have also heard that teh XXX-T need more to make it race ready or at least to be competitive as the T4 is????

if you are buying the losi xxxt mf2, it is race ready and all you will need out of the box,and just as competitive as the t4. and being a losi very hard to break, ae cars tend to break more often.

xxx-t mf2 DOES NOT NEED TO BE UPGRADED AT ALL! any of losi's products don't need to be hopped up for racing (mainly talking about buggys and trucks). mf2 has most to all of the factory team hop ups.

I dont mean they need "hop ups" but you need to change the caster and all of that. I have also heard weird things about the diffs and yes it is the mf2 I am looking at.. I dunno I am on my way to the hobby shop. I know they will not have any T4 till maybe next week and they have 1 MF2 in stock.. If I can get a the Losi for 250 with a bunch of spare parts, and a spring kit I will do it.

MF2! The T4 suffers from broken front arms alot. I have owned the MF2 for over a year now and still have not broke any suspension parts. My friend that owns a T4 breaks arms so often he needs to take out stock in AE.
