Default gt2 motor

i need a .12 sg shaft with rotary carb
a main shows a o.s. tg12e rotary carb and desciption says it has a pilot shaft which is same as a sg shaft but picture has a different shaft shown so which one is it
i also find a dynamite platinium .12re sg rotary carb off road it has a rear output
do i need a motor with a side output or a rear output

You can use a standard shaft on the GT2. You will just need to cut the crank and use the TC3 clutch nut.

i would rather use one of the other two motors bacause i dont have to do any cutting

i got a tz all cut and ready to go it has 2 carbs the stock 1 and the 10e witch allot of factory drivers are using let me know if your intrested

Most .12 motors that have an SG shaft and a slide carb will be an on-road mill so check the porting on the motor. You definitely want an off-road motor for this truck. Trust me, I tried an on-road mill at first and it was no bueno'

would an OS CVR 18 be too much a motor for this truck? not into racing but just bashing around at the local 1/8 buggy track. thanks...

I would say absolutely yes. I am running a .12 TZ and it is too much, but sooo much fun.
