Ok, so im wondering if when you rebuild a ninja bo1 if the new 'bo1a' parts fit.

I have heard that changes were made because of con-rod/crank shaft problems.

So my question is what exactly changed, and can you use the bo1a parts to rebuild a bo1?

not only are they compatible but would strongly recommend to only rebuild with bo1a crank and boca or tko bearings speaking from experience the rest is still bo1 or wait for the mario rossi tuned version budget permiting
