Default Affordable Gas Engine?

Im am getting back into gas, and I was wondering what motor is "price friendly" but still a very good motor. I'll be running it in an 1/8 scale Buggy.
The motor i currently have now from my Savage is an SH .28 and i dont think that would be a great motor for it. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.
And could you please list the price of the motor. Thanks

Mikey

go pick up the sportwerks v2 .21 & pipe, you can get them new off ebay for like $75. They perform about like an rb ws7II.

Go Tech motor from Amain hobbies, 5- port 209 and 7- port 229.00. i have been running this motor for a bit now and WOW. what an awesome motor and great mileage. plus it will keep up with anything and beat all. but that new os black motor is the exception. everything else it is right there. you can check there stats at Racefactorindustries.com. also you can contact Russell from their site through e mail and he can give you anything else you desire to know.

Novarossi T21BF 3 Port.
This engine has surprised many racers, running head and head with engines that cost twice as much. This engine has a strong bottom end, and a good top end as well. It produces 2.0 horsepower, and has a range of 6,000 - 32,800 RPM.

This engine runs well with an 086 pipe, or the Mugen 1005. Recommended plugs are Novarossi #6 or O'Donnell 99. Use 30% nitro fuel.

See below for the nitro gurus site

I have the Nova T21BF as well as the Go Tech 5 port. I prefer the Go Tech for most track conditions.
