Probably a bad idea because part support is excedingly difficult. Either step up to an 1/8th scale or a stadium truck from a well known manufacturer.

I agree. A good hobby grade RTR (ready to run) RC will cost $200-600 depending on vehicle type and size. Go to your LHS and see what they stock parts for. Its a pain having to wait in the mail for parts, plus a good LHS will help you out not only in selling you parts but showing you how to fix and tune the vehicle/ engine.

MY WIFE ITS GONA SAY "...YOU SPENT 300 PLUS ON WHAT??

BUT IN A COUPLE OF DAYS SHE WILL BE FINE.

i agree either a 1/10 gas truck or a 1/8 buggy...if you go with the 1/10 gas truck ide say look into a AE RC10GT or GT2, parts are easy to find and there just all around great trucks...if you deside on a 1/8 buggy ide look into one of the ofna buggies, once again parts are easy to come by and not to costly, and there is a ton of hop ups from ofna and the aftermarket...hope this helps a bit...
