Did you get it used, or is it in an RTR? You should have recieved an Instruction Booklet with your purchase...

250 really isn't bad. As long as it's under 260ish, you should be fine. The largest and most prominant adjuster(should be sticking up and an angle from the carb) is the Primary Mixture setting. There should be a small one on the throttle side, that's the Bottom End, or Idle Adjustment. Clockwise is richer, counter is leaner. Richer is cooler and slower, leaner is faster and hotter.

Sorry about the instructions comment, we have a TON of kids come on here, and ask for directions that came in their box...

it is a thunder tiger pro.21R motor for the thunder tiger mirage. it is about 50 F outside here right now and that is were I have it running is out side. I have turned the screws slightly were the fuel tube goes in and the big one on the carb, I have not turned the one that ajusts the idle speed. the car is pushing out blue smoke upon start up and turns to white after the engine has been idleing through 1/4 tank after that the temp starts climbing. I dont know if maybe it is the cold weather being at 50 F that is making it run hotter or not.

give thunder tiger an email and call and see if you can get a manual. I think they also sell the engine or something similar at A-main hobbies.

Default Help!

Any ideas on this?
I was removing my carb and broke the back side of the lip or the flange near the bottom. The lip is just below the first oring. Anywho I have a Race Saturday and I'm wondering if cilicone will seal it ok until I can buy a new carb. Will it effect anything if I can get a good seal?
Thanks

I would think the silicone will work but I would use high temp other wise you might end up melting the silicone and letting it get into the engine.

I will try the truning the screws one hr.
