Default Trouble cranking down hex nuts on certain wheels (1/8 scale buggy)

I noticed that on one pair of wheels the hole on them was so small I had no room to crank down the hex nuts.

Has anyone else this sort of issue. Which wheels should I look for that come premounted that don't have this issue?

The TRC/GRP line of wheels are like that. Just put a good sized chamfer on the very front of the wrench

Problem is my wrench is a hot bodies 17mm wrench. Lot of chamferring to do there!

Does anyone know of wrench that will work or socket I can pickup at say sears?

See if you can find someone selling a wheel wrench that comes with the kyosho 777 kits. They fit all wheels and makes with no problems.

I have a wheel wrench and had the same problem. I just put it in my lathe and turned down the outer diameter on the 17mm end until it fit in the recess of the rim. Problem solved. If you have access to a lathe it only takes a couple minutes.
