i am having trouble with it pushing on turn in under power..can't really carry any speed into it...my diffs are 7k front, 30k center, 3k rear. i am currently running a high bite blue groove indoor track. i have the khz knuckles if that makes a difference..i was going to bump UP the front diff to 10k (i've heard it's better that way) but i thought that would make it push more....

When I first built mine with the 7k front I hated it. It pushed like a champ. I am now running the following and it is so easy to drive:

(12mm wheel hex extender set)

Front:

- 700w Kyosho oil
- 1.4 pistons
- White springs (stock)
- Outside hole on shock tower
- Second hole from outside on suspension arm
- 20 deg caster blocks
- 2* toe out
- -1 to -2 degree camber
- 18,000 front diff oil (mixed)
- arms level
- middle hole on caster block
- A suspension holder/A bushings
- Low Block/L bushings
- front hole on ackerman
- sway bar stock/balls out
- droop limited one turn

Center

- 50 tooth spur
- 13 tooth clutch bell
- aluminum shoe/1.0 springs
- 22,000 Center diff Oil (mixed)

Rear

- 700w Kyosho Oil
- 1.4 pistons
- Long White Buggy Spring
- Outside hole in tower
- Second to outside hole in suspension arm
- 2,000 diff oil
- 3 deg anti squat block
- 2.5 rear toe block
- hubs 2/3 forward
- -1 to -2 degree camber
- camber link inside lower hole in tower/outside hole in hub
- lower hole in rear hub
- sway bar 3mm/balls out
- droop limited one turns
- arms level

so, you are running cody kings setup? does the higher front diff fluid make it push more? or does it like more like a front wheel drive action?i.e. pulling through corners?

I pulls more. I had a ton of push and it made it fell a lot better. I have since added a BCE extended chassis and KMW Big Bore Shocks and the truck is dialed now!

Thicker oil up front will make the truck push more off power (into turn) but help it steer more on power (out of turn). I tried 30k in the center diff and didn't like it at all, the truck felt too locked up. I would definitely drop it to 20k or 22k like CK's setup says. Cody's setup is fantastic, I would give it a try.

The 18k and 22k oils are just a guess. What he does is fill the front almost all the way with 20k and then tops off with a little 10k, then does the same in the center using 20k and topping off with 30k.

I also highly recommend the 11mm hub extenders (#IFW327BL), they really help the truck feel more balanced.

The 11mm hub extenders will give you a little more steering throw. You won't need anymore than that.
