Default b4 motor and battery choice???

hi, im looking to buy a motor and battery for my b4 that i am purchasing. im looking for a brushed motor with a ton of speed and torque. i would like to not get into lipo if i dont have to, so what is a good set of batteries to purchase?? thanks.

try HIGH VELOCITY for matched packs and tuned motors

I would go with IB 4200's for batteries and something 13 to 10 turns for a motor. A cobalt 2 with about 12 turns would work awsome

Look at an Orion Revolution V2 motor (maybe 10x2 if you really want speed/power) and find the SMC 4200 economy packs...You'll have a brushed motor that runs cool and can run more runs than just about everything else between cuttings of the comm and plenty of battery power for a reasonable price. I run brushless mostly, but my back up motors are Orions and I never complain when I have to use one...they don't have as much torque as my brushless, but seem to have more top end.
