Default thunder tiger engine help

I have a thunder tiger engine that is a pro .21R and I have noticed that there is only thunder tiger pro .21B-R parts, I am looking for a connecting rod for this motor and am wondering if the pro .21B-R conecting rod will work

Is this the engine you have?

If so, I'm not sure if a rod from the "B" will work, but I put a rod from an OS RG in mine. They are virtually the same engine on the inside.

If that is the engine you have here is a link to buy the correct rod for it:

Looking at the picture on that link though the rod appears to be the same one for the "B". I'll bet it will work. And for only about $10 it's probably worth a shot.

Yeah that looks like it all but the head, the head is blue. I was thinking of trying it but I wanted to find out if anyone else has tried it first. my connecting rod is square and that one is rounded.

I could never find that square looking rod from TTR. That's a pic of the rod for an OS RG. If you have a local hobby shop that has an RG rod in stock take yours in and compare them side by side. They are exactly the same. I have three RG's and the TTR engine and believe me, they are almost identical internally.

This is the place I bought my engine from. It might be worth a call to see if they have that rod from TTR.

Thanks that helps out a lot, I bought the car from a friend and trying to get into nitro rc cars because I have raced electric cars for a little over 7 years now and am getting board of it so I desided to buy this car with a blow motor so I did not have to spend that much for just getting into it and so far I am about ready to just fork over the money for a new engine. so every little bit helps out big time.

Thanks
