I have always used JR. I have tried both the z590M and a z650M and they have been fine. In terms of speed they are right in the middle. Lots of torque. I have never used a faster servo but would like to try one myself. I like the 3 years warranty they have too. Good servos for about $50.

hitec 645 metal gear, 35-45 bucks,. metal gear, plenty fast enough, and enough torque, super customer service, and warranty.

I think it is overkill but I like faster servo's. I have a JR 9000S for my throttle in my 1/8 scale and steering in my XXX4.

Airtronics 94357 (or equivilent) in just about everything I run. Steering on the truck, buggy, and 4wd, as well as throttle and steering on the gas truck.

I use the JR 9000s in my XX4 WE/CR and XXX CR. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Requirements: Digital, lower than .10sec/60*, over 80oz-in. Any servo meeting that criteria will be ideal for your car. Airtronics 94758 would be a good choice, or KO 2413.

What I use though, since I'm really cheap is a Hitec 5245MG. It has really good specs for a 10th buggy, its really light, small, and plus its way cheaper than your average standard size servo (only $44 at tower). I've been running it for 4 months now, and it is holding up really well.
