For those that did the e-conversion on a 8IGHT 3.0, I got a JConcepts Illuszion 8IGHT 2.0 body but it still seems to be hitting the top of the battery/straps making it slightly crooked, not so much as a regular body.

Did I get the wrong one? I've read quite a few posts that any body for a 8IGHT 2.0 will work, specifically the JConcepts Illuzion body. Looks like the front body post needs to be raised just a smidge to clear my battery/straps. Has anyone done that!?!

I just did the E-Conversion on a new Losi 8ight-t RTR

Do any of you know what steering linkage/turnbuckles I can use to replace the plastic ones this unit comes with?

Other than that, any tips? This is my first 1/8 scale.

You can use the turnbuckles and steering links from either the 3.0 truggy. I think the 4.0 truggy has shorter arms so the turnbuckles would be too short, maybe someone can chime in.

Here are the part #'s for the 3.0 parts:

Losi Suspension Balls (shock towers)
LOSA6048
Losi Suspension Balls (other end of camber link:
LOSA6049
Front Camber Links:
LOSA6546
Steering Rods:
LOSA6547
Rear Camber Links:
LOSA6545
