Default Pro Line Edge Truck tire question

Ok whats the deal with these tires. I have them mounted unlike anyone else. Everyone has the directional ribs on the inside, but I have mine on the outside of the tire.

So my question is, what does running them in the different locations do?

Depending on how you mount them it will change the steering characteristics. Moutning the directional ribs on the inside will put the "sharp" edge of that tread facing against the direction your turning so it will bite harder. Mounting the tire the other way will do the opposite and should smooth out steering response, wont catch as many edges (if your running on a broken dirt surface), and generally less front grip. If your on a high grip rough/broken track then the way you've mounted them will probably work pretty good.

Do you have the letters inside? if so this is the less aggressive way to run the tire, as said by Wheelnut, in my experience, you really don't need to run them the other way, these are aggressive enough the way you have them. I have a set of edge with letters out, and the Losi equivalent the mounted the opposite way and prefer the losi, which i believe is the same way you have your edges mounted.

That is the less aggressive configuration you have them on.
