Someone on RCCA linked to here, which has the link to that picture. If you go to Mugen USA's site, that picture is the homepage's picture. I'm in the U.S.

Distributors are suppose to be getting them April 30, but will probably not get them until 2-3 weeks after that according to my source.

For me, I would hold off buying it and wait for everybody to find out its flaws......give the kit time to be used by the average racers ....it happens everytime, any major r/c company introduces a new kit , people finding weak parts, parts that have to be hopped up then the company(aftermarket companies too) would listen then comes out with solutions. After that, prices would go down and by then you would know what exactly what you want to buy. just my 2 cents

You have an excellent point there, I was actually thinking about that pretty hard tonight, so now i'm considering a K2!!! Excellent and well proven buggy and I love the aluminum components Racers Edge is making for it!!! So, I might have one of those here pretty soon!!!

yeah...these are based on my experience ended up spending tons of money on a single kit because I get overly excited and get the 1st production r/c nitro cars before........stupid me.

you guys are making me think harder about my decision

i really like mugen products but i would be really upset if i got it and it sucked

i have been seeing guys with kyoshos have problems lately and ive heard k2 kits are a little hard to find right now

im even considering a hyper 7 pro some of the hyper 7 racers in my area seem to do really well

Distributors are suppose to have K2's late April.........which is now.......I hope they get them pretty soon because I think my mind is pretty much made up!!! Not only is it a good buggy, but theres plenty of parts support and option parts for it!!! What engine are you guys running??? Whats popular in your area??? I'm looking at the new Rex P5 or maybe the Sirio, but not entirely sure yet.

I guess a couple of the team drivers are just getting them now. I was told ''the parts are in the box'' but they are just waiting on little stuff..

Just heard the MBX-5 will leave Japan on the 20th of May. By the way I have the Nova Rossi P5 (same as REX) & it's great. But add a turbo head button & 90'' of shims & you will be impressed.

slapper i would go with the p5 the sirio uses a turbo plug

i was trying to make the same choice but i finally got a rx21 p5 last weekend because it was cheaper and sirio had turbo plug

and i think novarossi engines will last longer than others

i was told that mugen usa had the mbx5 in the box but didnt have the bodies yet

i am just going to have to wait and see hopefully i will get a chance to see the new mbx5 run soon and i think i can get someone to let me drive a kanai and a hyper 7 so i can see what works best for me

tambok is that 9886 pipe the same as a 086 and have you seen the rdlogic pipe yet i was thinking about getting it and a waller to run on my p5

Actually I run the RD logic one piece pipe with the SBK engine....the engine alone has tons of bottom so with a decent all around pipe like the RD logic, everythings honky dory. ...don't need more bottom and top for the SBK engine .

However with the P5 engine, I would suggest to get the 086 or 9886 pipe (cost around $40 2 piece pipe.....BTW 086 = 9886 pipe)...you don't need any waller adapter for the P5 and 086 combo.....with the waller installed , it robs all the bottom instead of boosting it more(other guys tried it). AS you already know, those waller adapter works on specific engines that has more top than bottom ....if changing pipes won't get you enough bottom, try the waller...that's what I would do. But with the P5 and 086 pipe bottom and top power is there when you need it.....it can't get any better than this.

what does the rdlogic pipe give you better top or bottom?

i dont need a whole lot of top end at all the track i race on doesnt give us much room to go fast on

i am very interested in the rdlogic pipe becuase of its price and the fact ive used their onroad pipes for a while with great results
