Thats a great idea, unless the only carry tmaxx stuff, or losi xx chassis stuff. My local hobby shops dont carry anything for either 8ight, but they cant keep them in stock.

that is very dependant on what they stock, how much they do stock and if you like shopping there.....I am not disagreeing at all but about the only thing my lhs is good for is tires, fuel and electric car parts, which i do buy there then get mauled if i get a car or parts for it from another place. lhs cant complain about convenience and what they choose to carry. for me to order a part they dont normally stock means i wait a week to a week and a half, pay more for the part + (for me) drive an hour to an hour and a half round trip. it isnt worth it. i compare it to much like going to a grocery store, if the closest store only carries cold cuts , eggs and milk where do you buy hamburger, steak or cheese? by all means if you need what local carries get it there but if not why suffer the all around trouble?

My local hobby shop is too expensive to buy from. If I bought from them it would cost me about $500 more to finish my buggy and gear.
