Starting an engine which hasnt been used for a while
I havent used my Hellfire for about 6 months now, but since the good weather is here iam going to be firing her up again. Is there anything special I should do before I start it? I was panning to get the engine upto temperature by heating it with a heat gun for a bit then starting it. anything else?

Yes I drained out all the fuel before i put it away, and I made sure to put extra after run oil then normal since i wasnt going to use it in a while. Anything else?

It should fire up O.K. If not, and you don't mind pulling it apart, take the backing plate off, (and the plug out) and flush the engine out with some fresh fuel. Just pour a little in the back of the engine, turn the flywheel over a few times, drain it, then put her back together. This will help flush any "gluggy" residue out of the engine and make it easier to turn over.
