No comparison. Hot bodies has kinda dropped off the radar amongst the pros. plus most people are winning with the 8ight

the hotbodies is not even a racer anymore
lets put it this way the 8ight is like a state and the hotbodies is like a rock laying on that state
also give the CEN matrix a look at headrushhobbies.com or cenracing.com

The most recent Hot Bodies buggy is a copy of the Kyosho Kanai I, a buggy that is now 5 generations old. There are far better models out there. The 8ight RTR is probably the best outfitted RTR on the market if that's what you're looking for.

If price is an issue and you want a 1/8 scale buggy, there are nice race supported options out there right now.

I decided to go with a CEN Matrix based on:

1. Price
2. Equipment
3. Racing quality

For a company that isn't one of the big ones like a Kyosho, they have a nice string of wins and the vehicle is known to be VERY durable. Great for a beginner. You also get pretty good electronics with it too.
