Default Marvel's Mystery Oil

How many use this for After Run Oil and/or Air Filter Oil? Mostly does anyone use it as Air Filter Oil?

I've heard that marvel mystery oil is just like after run in oil.

I don't think you want to use MMO as an air filter oil. Its' too runny. You want something thick and gooey. I use some 2 stroke air filter oil bought from the local cycle shop.

It's great as an after run oil. Do NOT use it as an air filter oil. It will break down the foam eventually.

Go to a motorcycle shop and get some foam filter oil. A 16oz bottle is about 8 bucks and lasts forever.

You make it hard for guys to help you out. first a few days ago you ask if 10w30 is a good filter oil to use and now your want to use a motor oil additive for the same use. almost 20 guys on your other thread told you the exact samething to use and where to buy it. and now your wanting to spend the same amount for this crap that it would cost you to buy the right oil for the right uses.

as an after run oil, this stuff is good as well as 3 in 1 house oil. its not quite as thick and will burn out better when you start you car again.

Actually MMO is not really good for some engines as an ARO. Engines that have had crank mods with putty in the crank journal this oil MMO is not good for as it can and will cause the putty to come loose. I use pure mineral oil that you can buy form any drug store and I only do this if I am going to store an engine longer than a few weeks.

USE THE RIGHT OIL FOR THE JOB!
