I'm with the other guy that said it:

Throttle control. With it you can load the car up properly and finesse it while in the air if needed.

well i went to the track , backed off the drag brake and i now i can nail the table top way more consistantly !

check out the set up sheets at www.rc10.com almost all have the rear weight. with/without the weight in back its either bad timing or a loss of traction going into the jump.

Check the face of that tabletop. Chances are the face isn't smooth and it has depression in the middle creating a kicker that the rear end is slapping causing your car to nose dive.

as said throttle control is the key
are u using kit wing or other
u can try cutting deflector at differnt angles to change flight
